We have hit a bit of a road block. Home Depot forgot to include two of the brown end panels for the upper cabinets. They have ordered these new panels for us at no extra cost but the bad news is we will have to wait 2-4 weeks for delivery. Now we are going to try and install all of the base cabinets as well as the appliance. Hopefully we can order the counter top soon and then we will really be at a stand still while we wait for both the counters and the missing end panels.

We have cabinets! I am pretty excited.

We bought a new LG LCD TV for the kitchen. It fits nicely on the mounting bracket. Now I won't miss any of the news on TV while I am making dinner.

We have put down and grouted most of the floor tiles. We are going to tile the nook once the cabinets have been installed and the fridge has been moved to it new spot next to the pantry.

We put down 1/4" WonderBoard® Cement Backerboard on top of the linoleum. When I say linoleum I don't mean vinyl, it is the real deal, floor tiles made from linseed oil.

We have started putting down the ceramic tile over the cement backerboard.

The kitchen has been painted green, VERY green. The paint colour is called Green Fig by Behr paint.

The drywall is ready for paint. I think we are both glad there won't be any more dust for a while.
