What a difference a rug makes

I know what you did last summer.

This summer we spent the majority of our time updating the backyard. Many yards to soil and debris were disposed in preparation for the installation of our new lawn. We spread new topsoil and grass seed just in time for summer to end. We also found time to paint our front door green.

 

Are we there yet?

 I can confidently say that we have finished the majority of our renovation project. The only things that remain unfinished include; painting the trim and some of the doors in the house. The kitchen and dining area are now done. We have been cooking up a storm for a few months. The Schonbek chandelier is my favorite part of the entire renovation.

Ryan and I made the frame around the flat screen TV out of decorative crown molding that we purhcased from Home Depot.
