Since the counter tops have been installed we have put up the trim around the window and the pantry door (not pictured here). We have also installed some wood blinds that we bought at IKEA. The price was right and they are real wood, which makes me very happy. I think we will buy more of these blinds for the eating nook.

Do your cabinets go in front of the window? How far does it cover the window. We're thinking about doing that in our kitchen...
Also, what kind of cabinets are those. They look great. We're getting ready to renovate our kitchen too.
Yes the cabinets were installed infront of the window, we did not want to alter the outside of the house. It worked our quite well.
